The issue raised in this application is use of residential area (Sector- 2, Greater Noida West, District Gautam Budh Nagar) for illegal Rodi/Bajri mixture plants from where continues pollution is generated round the clock causing air and noise pollution adversely affecting the human health.

The matter was taken up by this Tribunal and the report was called from the authorities concerned (District Magistrate, GBN and State PCB).

In compliance thereof, joint Committee has submitted the report as follows:- i.

At the time of inspection, no representative of the unit was present. ii.

During inspection, it was found that the unit is totally dismantled.

2 iii.

The raw materials, products and plants have been revoked/dismantled. iv.

The unit is closed in compliance of closure order passed by UPPCB. v.

Unit has deposited the Environmental Compensation to the tune of Rs.

1 lakh to Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.

In light of the above report, action has been taken by the State PCB and closure order has been issued by the State PCB.

The amount of compensation assessed by the authorities concerned have been deposited by the violator.

In view of above, no further action is required to be taken by this Tribunal.

The application stands disposed of accordingly.
