04/2024: This is an application seeking impleadment of 67 applicants as respondents but without disclosing even a single name of a person as to who wants to be impleaded.

The application therefore, suffers 2 for gross irregularity as it does not disclose the names of the persons who want to be impleaded.

No effective order on such an application can be passed.

It is accordingly rejected.

374/2024: This application has been filed by 67 persons seeking impleadment as respondents in O.A No.

595/2022 stating that the applicants will get dispossessed from the land in question.

It is also said in para 4 that applicants are “Other Traditional Forest Dwellers”.

Their predecessors as well as the applicants are living in the forest areas for more than 100 years.

Initially applicants were primarily resided in the Sunderbans forest and are now living in the present forest since about 1979-1980s.

The applicants depend on the forest and forest lands for bona-fide livelihood needs.

No material and no document is placed on record to show that the applicants are residing in Hastinapur Reserve Forest area for the last 50 years and even it is not on record that any eviction notice has been served upon applicants who are seeking impleadment, for evicting from the forest lan forest land of Hastinapur Reserve Forest.

Since there is nothing on record to show that the applicants seeking impleadment, in the present matter, are necessary or proper parties, we do not find any justification to implead them as respondents.

The I.A is accordingly rejected.

375/2024: This application is for seeking early hearing.

In view of the order passed in I.A No.

374/2024, the applicants in this application since are no more parties to this O.A, their request for early hearing cannot be accepted.

Even otherwise the matter is already listed on 04.09.2023, therefore, we do not find any reason to prepone the hearing.

I.A is accordingly disposed of.
