ORDER 1.

In this original application, Applicant has raised the issue that 11 brick kilns are currently operating in the vicinity of Atrauli and Kol, District Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and these brick kilns are operating without obtaining the consent and are flouting the norms and guidelines set out by the competent authorities for this purpose.

Submission of Counsel for the Applicant is that though the representation dated 21.10.2023 was submitted to the Regional Officer, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Aligarh, but no action on the said representation has been taken.

Having regard to the issue which has been raised in the OA, we are of the opinion that the grievance raised by the Applicant needs to be duly considered by the concerned Regional Officer.

Hence, we dispose of the present OA directing the Regional Officer, UPPCB, Aligarh to duly consider the grievance raised in the 2 representation dated 21.10.2023 and take appropriate remedial action in accordance with law.

Let this exercise be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The OA is accordingly disposed of.

Let a copy of this order be forwarded to the Regional Officer, UPPCB, Aligarh by e-mail for compliance.
