In compliance with our order dated 11.10.2023, respondent No.1 – District Collector, Jalgaon appears to have sent a report dated 29.01.2024, which is in Marathi.

Its English translation has not been submitted.

None of the respondents i.e.

District Collector, Jalgaon, District Mining Officer, Jalgaon and the Tahsildar, Jalgaon has appeared today.

We hold the service on all these respondents sufficient because had these respondents not been served, they would not have sent the report, stated above.

We have gone through the report submitted by the District Collector, relevant part of which is as follows: Page 2 of 2 4.

On perusal of the above report, which is submitted by the Additional Collector, Jalgaon, who must be working on behalf of the District Collector, it is quite clear that no illegal mining was found being done in river Girna at Savkheda in Gat No.39, which is adjacent to Gat No.41 of Savkheda Bk.

Taluka and District Jalgaon.

Therefore, no substance is found in the complaint made by the present applicant.

Notice sent to the applicant/complainant on 28.01.2025 has returned unserved because his address was found to be insufficient.

In view of above report submitted on behalf of the District Collector, Jalgaon – respondent No.1, we dispose of this Original Application.
