Perused the report of the learned Registrar dated 09.10.2023 with respect to a complaint/letter received through e-mail dated 29.09.2023, in which the complainant has not mentioned his/her name, though e- mail address is mentioned, complaining therein for illegal mining being done in Districts: Osmanabad & Solapur by the private contractors in connivance with the Government officials, illegally from various rivers causing loss to the State Exchequer.

It appears that complainant has not disclosed his name, for which there appears to be no genuine reason.
Moreover, he has also not given the specific area where the illegal mining is being done nor names of the alleged contractors, who are said to be indulging in illegal mining in collusion with the Government officials nor any cogent proof of the same has been annexed.

In view of above, we do not deem it appropriate to call for a report or initiate any action in the matter, hence direct the Registry to consign it to the record.
