This Original Application has been registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by the NRI Residency Apartment Owners Association, Plot No.

GH01, Sector Omega -II, Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar.

The complaint made in the letter petition is about non-functioning of the STP in the said society where there are about 1000 flats and about 800 families residing.

It is alleged that huge amount of water is being wasted which can be used in day-to-day activities like horticulture and cleaning of common areas of the society etc.

Having regard to the nature of the grievance raised in the letter petition, we are of the opinion that the issue at the first instance can be considered by the UPPCB.

Accordingly, we dispose of this OA permitting the Member Secretary of UPPCB to look into the grievance raised in the OA and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
