This Original Application is registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by one Omvati, resident of Ward No.
7, Mehrauli, New Delhi with the allegation that in Chattarpur Enclave Phase-II, the water is being misused by taking illegal connection from 2-3 borrings and it is also alleged that the water is being used for irrigation in the farm houses mentioned in the letter petition and that the government boring has been unauthorizedly taken under control by a few vending persons who are not permitting others to take water from it.

The issue raised relating to misuse of water needs to be first examined by the competent authorities.
Hence, we direct the Member Secretary, DJB to duly consider the complaint made in the letter petition and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

Let a copy of this order along with the letter petition be forwarded to Member Secretary, DJB by e-mail for appropriate action within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the same.
