ThisOriginal Application is registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by one Raj Kumar, resident of Ward No.
14, Gandhi School Lane, Adarsh Colony, Safidon, District Jind, Haryana.
In the letter petition, allegation about cutting of 174 green trees has been made in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School, Ritoli, Khand Pillukheda, District Jind, Haryana.
It has been alleged that the due procedure has not been followed before cutting the trees.

The issue which is raised in the application needs to be examined by the competent authority, at the first instance.
Hence, we dispose of the present OA directing the DFO having jurisdiction over the area concerned, to look into the grievance of the applicant and also examine if the allegation about cutting of trees in the premises of the school is correct and if so, whether the compensatory plantation has been done.
The DFO will take appropriate remedial action in accordance with law ensuring that the interest of the students in the school is not adversely effected.
