This original application has been registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by one Rakesh Kumar, resident of 12/114, Vasundhra, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The grievance raised in this application is that in front of the house of the applicant, illegal work is being carried out by Himanshu Marble Stone and Fabricator.

The complaint of the applicant is that large scale unloading of marble stones is being done which causes air pollution in the area making it difficult for the nearby residents to breathe.

Such an issue relating to compliance of the environmental norms by the concerned person is required to be looked into by the Regional Officer, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Ghaziabad.

Hence, we dispose of the present OA directing the Regional Officer, UPPCB, Ghaziabad to duly examine the complaint as noted above and take remedial action in accordance with law.

The action taken report be submitted by the Regional Officer, UPPCB, Ghaziabad before the Registrar General of this Tribunal within three months by e-mail at 2 [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Support PDF and not in the form of Image PDF.

If found necessary, the matter be listed for consideration.

OA is accordingly disposed of.

A copy of this order, along with copy of complaint, be forwarded to Regional Officer, Uttar Pradesh UPPCB, Ghaziabad by e-mail for compliance.
