Counsel for petitioner Ms. Manasa for Pragathi Law Chambers present, submits that in view of the orders of the Commission dated 12.11.2025 for having extended the time limit till 30.06.2026 for installation of standby meters to all the Open Access Generators including the present petitioner, this petition may be disposed off as it does not survive for consideration for further consideration. Commission heard the counsel, noted the submissions and disposed the present petition in terms of the Commission order dated 12.11.2025.

Case called for hearing on admission on 28.10.2025 considering the memo dated 25.10.2025 filed by the petitioner for urgent listing before the Commission with notice issued to the Respondent (SLDC). Counsel Sri. Ajajy Nandalike appeared for petitioner, made submissions for extension of time period for installation of standby meter till 31.12.2025 since the Respondent has refrained to issue NoC for the month of November 2025 in view of directions of the Commission and prays to direct the Respondent to continue to issue monthly NoCs to the petitioner till the completion of the ongoing construction of the 220 KV unmanned switching station. Smt. B.K. Gayathi, Controller, RA, KPTCL present and submits that all Open Access Generators were given extension of time for installation of the standby meters till 31.10.2025 and at present all generators are urging to extend the time in view of non-availability of standby meters. Commission heard the counsel and the officer, noted their submissions and decided to extend time to install standby meter till 30.06.2026 for all generators. Office is directed to issue necessary orders.
