Mahadev, Director (Finance) BESCOM present, made submissions for approval of additional surcharge of Rs. 1.65 per unit applicable to FY-2026 with effect from 1.04.2025 to all its Open Access consumers U/S Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act and prays to admit the petition. Commission heard the submissions made by the officer of petitioner-BESCOM, admitted the petition and directed the office to take necessary steps to hold public hearing duly following the procedure and to fix up the suitable date for holding public hearing on the subject matter.
