Counsel for R-1 Ms. Stephania Pinto for Precinct Legal present and objected for the opinion of third party agencies as suggested by the petitioner through memo dated 16.03.2026 and in the meantime accepting to entrust the matter to CPRI for determination of generation loss.   Consequent upon filing of Application by the petitioner along with Affidavit dated 30.01.2026 for urgent listing of the present petition, case is called for hearing on 17.02.2026. Counsel Ms. Shreya Dubey for Neeti Niyaman present for petitioner through video conferencing, submits that the Commission was pleased to refer the present matter for determination loss of generation to Grid Controller of India for its expert opinion during July 2024. However, no opinion is forthcoming from them till today and hence, suggested to refer the matter to any other alternate third party Agencies like TUV Rheinland and Knight Frank Busses with the consent of the Respondent. Counsel for R-1 Ms. Stephenia Pinto for Precinct Legal present and prays two weeks’ time to seek instructions from the client in this regard. Commission heard the counsels, noted their submissions and alternatively, Commission sought to know from the petitioner whether the expert opinion could also be obtained from CPRI. Petitioner counsel says no objection for referring the matter to CPRI. Further, Commission directed the petitioner counsel to file memo mentioning the third party agencies as suggested with in two weeks’ with a copy respondent.
