Considering the submission of BESCOM official and contents of the letter addressed by the BESCOM to petitioner, case was disposed off on 19.11.2024. But in pursuance of IA dated 11.02.2025 of the petitioner, case is again listed for hearing. Under these circumstances the Respondent counsel prays two weeks’ time to seek instructions from client in this regard and to address arguments on merits. Commission granted time. Counsel Sri. Sumanth Gowda for Precinct Legal present for R-2, undertakes to file vakalath and memo in the registry to the effect that R-2 is not filing statement of objections. Commission heard counsels, noted the submissions of petitioner counsel and the officer of Respondent-BESCOM and directed the petitioner and 1st Respondent-BESCOM to settle the issue amicably between them as mentioned in terms of letter dated 11.11.2024 filed by Respondent-BESCOM. Further, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Commission in the event, if any differences in the calculation on the lapsed energy charges between respondent-BESCOM. The petition is disposed off accordingly.
