Case called for hearing on 19.11.2024. Counsel for petitioner Sri. Chiranth for Navayana Law Offices present. Party-in-person Smt. Tarana DGM (Power Purchase) BESCOM present for R-1 and submits that a letter dated 11.11.2024 has been addressed to petitioner company to withdraw the present petition in view of the necessary action taken for settlement of claims for revising the energy bills and crediting the difference energy as banked energy besides arranging payment for unutilized banked energy in terms of Wheeling and Banking Agreement and prays to take the same on record. Counsel Sri. Sumanth Gowda for Precinct Legal present for R-2, undertakes to file vakalath and memo in the registry to the effect that R-2 is not filing statement of objections. Commission heard counsels, noted the submissions of petitioner counsel and the officer of Respondent-BESCOM and directed the petitioner and 1st Respondent-BESCOM to settle the issue amicably between them as mentioned in terms of letter dated 11.11.2024 filed by Respondent-BESCOM. Further, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Commission in the event, if any differences in the calculation on the lapsed energy charges between respondent-BESCOM. The petition is disposed off accordingly.
