  Case called for admission on 07.01.2025. Counsel Ms. Saakshi Kapur for petitioner and Party-in-person Sri. Deepak Panchal present, made submissions to enforce ‘must run’ status granted to the solar power projects, direct SLDC to stop issuing instructions to back down the solar power generated from the petitioners’ project, and to pay for loss of generation to the extent of Rs. 84.32 crores as per para 25 of the petition. Further submits that the present petition is being filed in the background of the orders of Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka dated 11.06.2024, Hon’ble APTEL Judgement dated 02.08.2021 read with POSOCO Report, Commission order dated 19.12.2023 in OP No. 20/2019 where the orders are supportive in favour of the petitioner and hence, prays to admit the petition subject to payment of court fee at a later date since the methodology for estimating the charges are yet to be approved the Commission. Commission heard the counsel and party-in-person, noted the submissions alongside with the orders cited above and expressed its view that since, no specific claim for quantification of loss of energy commensurate with exact compensation is forthcoming in the prayer, directed the petitioner to quantify the same along with payment of court fee as per KERC(fee) Regulations and to file amendment application to the effect. Commission also noted that no specific directions for curtailment from competent authority are available in the petition. Petitioner counsel prays 30 days’ time to comply. Time granted. Next date of hearing will be intimated after receipt of compliance.
