Both counsels addressed arguments on the merits of the case. Petitioner counsel submits that although, the request for renewal of WBA was made on time, due to certain constraints in terms of GEOA Regulations coming into force, the renewal of WBA could not be carried out by the concerned. However, the petitioner is accepting to receive the compensation at 75% of the amount for energy injected between 26.03.2023 to 17.05.2023 in accordance with the generic tariff order 2023 of the commission prevailing at that time. Further prays time to file memo in this regard. Respondent counsel says no objection for the same. Commission heard the counsels, noted the submissions of both counsels, perused the documents and reserved the case for orders with direction to the petitioner to file memo in the registry within two days’ time from today.
