HABIBULLA SHAIK The Court made the following Order: This Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…. to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of 2 to 4 in not considering the petitioner representation dated 24-03-2023 submitted under registered post pertaining to do mutation in respective of the schedule succeed by the petitioner in O.S.No.204/2015 on the file of Senior Civil Court, Sattenapalli of an extent of Ac.1.50 Cents in D.No.227/C of Munagodu Village, Amaravathi Mandal, Palnadu District as illegal, arbitrary, violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner to mutate the petitioner name in all revenue records concerned within a time bound program….” 2.

None appeared for the petitioner.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner as the revenue authorities are not considering the representation dated 24.03.2023 submitted under registered post pertaining to mutate her name in the revenue records as the owner of the property situated in an extent of Ac.1.50 cents in D.No.227/C of Munagodu Village of Amaravathi Mandal.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that there is no application filed by the petitioner to mutate her name in revenue records pertaining to subject property.

He further submits that any person seeking mutation of name in Record of Rights, has to submit an application through online under Form VI-A as per Rule 18 of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989.

If such application is filed, the respondent authorities will consider and pass appropriate orders.

In view of the submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader, without going into other aspects, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh online application under Form VI-A as mandated under Rule 18 of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989, if she is advised.

On filing such application, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate reasoned orders, as expeditiously as possible, strictly in accordance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________ Dr.
