RAGHUNANDAN RAO W.P.No.1458 of 2023 ORDER: The petitioner had undertaken the work of providing Pilgrim amenities at Hazrath Murad Shah Vali Babu Dargah in Tarigonda, Chittoor District, under Agreement No.107/2012-13 dated 20.12.2013.

It is the case of the petitioner that against an amount of Rs.39,65047/- claimed by the petitioner, am amount of Rs.16,19,596/- remained due and payable.

The petitioner, being aggrieved by the inaction/refusal of the respondents in paying the said amount, has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.

The learned Government Pleader has produced the statement of account of the petitioner which showed that only an amount of Rs.8,39,629/- had remained unpaid.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, after taking time to verify the facts, has stated, on instructions, that the amount due to the petitioner is Rs.8,39,629/-.

In view of the fact that the said amount of Rs.

8,39,629/- is undisputed and has remained due to the petitioner for a very long period of time, it would be appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondents 2, 5 and 6, to disburse the said amount of Rs.8,39,629/- to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to say, it would be open to the petitioner, subject to the provisions of law, to agitate his rights in relation to the interest on the unpaid amount before an appropriate forum.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________________ R.
