Respondents Counsel for the Petitioner : M/s.

Also heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue representing respondents.

With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.

Notice to the respondent No.4 is deemed not necessary, as the merits of the matter are not dealt with.

2.

From a bare perusal of the affidavit, more particularly, in the light of the request made by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent dated 25.07.2023, the case is about non-furnishing of a copy of the Revision Petition stated to have been filed by the 4th respondent.

As seen from the said representation, it is received by the 2nd respondent’s office on 25.07.2023 and as rightly pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner, when a revision is filed by the 4th respondent and a request made, the concerned authority is under an obligation to furnish a copy of the same, more particularly to enable the writ petitioner to file his counter in the matter.

In the absence of the furnishing a copy of the revision petition, the petitioner cannot be expected to defend his case.

4.

Therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to furnish a copy of the revision petition along with the material filed by the 4th respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. his Order.

The 2nd respondent shall not proceed with the matter/Revision without complying with the directions, as indicated above.
