THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SREENIVASA REDDY WRIT PETITION NO.18786 OF 2023 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief; “….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the Respondent No.

1 in completing the investigation and filing the charge sheet in FIR No.

96/2011 on the file of the Darsi Police Station, Prakasam District against the Respondent No.

5 and others as arbitrary, illegal and violation of ArticleS 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents No.

1 to 3 to complete the investigation in FIR No 96/2011 on the file the Darsi Police Station Prakasam District in accordance with law and file the charge sheet against the Respondent No 5 and others forthwith in the interest of justice…” 2 2.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the police are not conducting investigation in FIR No.96 of 2011.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the police conducted investigation and filed final report stating that the case is civil in nature.

In view of the said submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies available to him under law.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed. ___________________________________ JUSTICE K.
