THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SREENIVASA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.17906 of 2023 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief; “….to issue an order, direction or Writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Nos.

4 and 5 in making calls and demanding the petitioner to come to police station and threatening the petitioner to accede to the demands of the respondent No.

6 as illegal. void and against the settled principles of law and against the articles 14, 19 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent Nos.

4 and 5 not to call the petitioner to police station and threatening the petitioner to accede to the demands of the respondent No.6 in the interest of justice and pass…” 2.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the police are making calls to the petitioner and calling her to police station under the guise of preliminary enquiry pertaining to the report given by the respondent No.6 and directed her to settle the disputes with the respondent No.6 amicably.

At the time of hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions from the police, submitted that the police are not calling the petitioner regularly to the police station.

He further stated that the police are not threatening the petitioner in connection with the report given by the respondent No.6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the same may be recorded and writ petition may be disposed of.

Recording the said submission of the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.
