THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.5117 of 2023 ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking direction for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.2 of 2016 on the file of learned Principle Junior Civil Judge Court, Rayachoty.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.3 submitted that though the police have conducted investigation and filed charge sheet in the year 2016, till today, the trial Court in the said case i.e.C.C No.2 of 2016 has not been proceeded with.
Even after lapse of seven years, not even a single witness has been examined.

In view of the said submissions and considering the inordinate delay in conducting the trial, the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge, Rayachoty is directed to dispose of the said C.C.No.2 of 2016 within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
No costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE K.
