The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, the 4th respondent has not yet disposed of the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.11.2022 for mutation of his name with respect to the subject land in an extent of Ac.1.00 cents in Sy.No.259/4 and Ac.1.50 cents in Sy.No.260/4 of Meraka Chamavaram Village, Rowthulapudi Mandal, Kakinada District.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, initially for the subject land the Pattadar Passbook was issued in favour of the petitioner’s father vide Patta No.422.
The Adangal copy, dated 11.02.2023 discloses the name of the petitioner’s father for an extent of Ac.1.50 cents in Sy.No.260/4 of the said village.
Similarly the Adangal copy dated 11.02.2023 discloses the name of the petitioner’s father in an extent of Ac.1.00 cents in Sy.No.259/4 of the said village.
After the demise of the petitioner’s father the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same under a Will deed executed by his late father.
But, the mutation of his name in the Revenue Records has not been taken place, inspite of repeated requests by the petitioner to the 4th respondent.
Ultimately, the petitioner gave representation to the 4th respondent, dated 28.11.2022.
But, the same is kept pending.

On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents, submits that the 4th respondent will act upon the petitioner’s representation by following the due procedure.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the 4th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the 3 petitioner’s representation, dated 28.11.2023 with respect to the mutation of his name in the Revenue Records for the subject land strictly in accordance with law by disposing of the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of this order.
Upon hearing all the parties concerned, including the petitioner and upon verification of the records and the subject land, appropriate decision shall be taken on its own merits.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
