GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents particularly 3' and 4th respondents in interfering with the personal liberty of petitioners and threatening them with dire consequences of implicating in false cases and further pressurizing them to settle the issue with the 6th respondent to declare the same as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, discriminatory and also in violation of the principles of natural justice apart from violation of fundamental right guaranteed under Article 21 of Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents particularly the 4th and 5th respondents not to interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioners by summoning them to the police station of 4th and 5th respondent without there being any case or cause and without following the procedure contemplated under law.” 2.

Heard Sri N.Sri Hari, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the police are interfering in the civil disputes between the parties.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that on the complaint by respondent No.4, a crime has been registered against the petitioners and after conducting investigation, the matter is referred as civil in nature.

Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between 3 the parties except under due process of law.

There shall be no order as to costs.
