Heard the arguments of Sri.M.Sai Sundeep, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Commercial Taxes.

The main thrust of the argument is that the petitioner filed rectification application dated 02.05.2019 meeting the objections raised by the first respondent in the assessment order dated 23.03.2019and so far no order has been passed yet.

Hence, seeking direction to that effect though other prayers are made by him in Writ Petition.

In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s case, we deem it apposite to direct the first respondent to consider the rectification application dated 02.05.2019 and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously, but not later than four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.
