BY ITS PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, FINANCE AND PLAT I T LING DEPARTMCNT, SECRETARIAT, AMARAVATHI, GUNTUR DISTRICT ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in withholding the undisputed bill amounts payable to the petitioner in respect of work i.e., Dismantling and Reconstruction of G plus 1 community hall i.e., R.T Club at Gollalapalem in Ward No.27 (SDFW DA) even after finalizing the bills as illegal arbitrary and contrary to the Principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to pay undisputed bill amount payable to the petitioner i.e.

GP FOR MUNCIPAL ADMN URBAN DEV 3 The Court made the following Order: Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has completed the works entrusted by the 4th respondent-Corporation as per Agreement No.265/2018-2019/ S.E(W)/E.E-II/DB, dated 21.12.2018 and submitted final bills.

It is submitted that, in all, an amount of Rs.7,32,553/- is due payable to the petitioner.

However, amounts have not been paid.

Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, for the respondents 1 and 2; the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, for the respondents 3 and 8 and the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 to 7.

Considering the submissions, the 4th respondent is hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

No costs.
