Secretariat Building, Velagapudi, Amaravathi, Guntur District and 4 others. ….Respondents ORDER: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance for the 2nd respondent and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5.

This Writ Petition is filed due to non payment of bills of Rs.97,344/-, Rs.97,695/-, Rs.48,457/-, Rs.44,928/-Rs.37,082/-, in total, a sum of Rs.3,25,506/-, though the bills were passed on 2 17.03.2019, 10.08.2018, 20.05.2019 and 18.04.2019 respectively for the works executed in the 4th respondent/municipality.

The learned Government Pleader for Finance upon receipt of the written instructions, dated 11.08.2023 from the 1st respondent submits that amounts of Rs.48,457/- and Rs.37,082/- were paid out of the above said bill Nos.I.D.No.2018-795133 and I.D.No.2023-839874 and the balance is due.
The same could not be paid due to non availability of general funds in the municipality respectively.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the respondent Nos.2, 4 and 5 are directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.2,39,967/- to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of this order by complying with all the formalities.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
No costs.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
