THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SREENIVASA REDDY Writ Petition No.1483 of 2023 ORDER:- The Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner to declare the high handed action on the part of the respondents herein more particularly Respondent Nos.4 and 5 in threatening the Branch Managers of petitioner’s Muthoot Fin Corp Limited (Kancharapalem and Visakhapatnam-2) branches to handover the Gold ornaments pledged by the accused in Crime No.379 of 2022 of II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City within 24 hours without following the procedure contemplated under the law, basing on the police notice under Section 91 Cr.P.C., dated 26.11.2022 and 27.11.2022 is highly illegal and consequently direct the respondents not to threaten to hand over the gold ornaments and not to take coercive steps against the petitioners.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted to and admitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, that the subject matter in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order dated 17.02.2021 in Writ Petition No.7566 of 2019.

In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition is closed in terms of the observations in above said orders of this Court.

A copy of the said above order be appended to this order.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE K.
