9263 of 2023 ORDER:- Questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in seizing the petitioner’s vehicle bearing Registration No.AP 39 Y 6289 along with polished granite slabs, as illegal and arbitrary, the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

It is the contention of the petitioner that there is a valid transmit permit and invoice and after obtaining the same only, the petitioner is carrying out the transportation in the above said vehicle.

In support of the contention, the petitioner also filed copies of transmit permits issued by the concerned authorities along with present Writ Petition.

In that view of the matter, without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present Writ Petition is being disposed of, at the stage of admission, directing the 3rd respondent to verify the transmit permission submitted by the petitioner and take action accordingly within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2 If the transmit permits are there for transporting of Granite Slabs, 3rd respondent is directed to release Granite Slabs and also the vehicle in favour of the petitioner forthwith.

Accordingly, with the above said direction the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.

No costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed in consequence. ________________ K.SURESH REDDY,J 17-04-2023.
