890 OF 2023 ORDER: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Endowments for the respondents.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that his application is pending before the 2nd respondent for its consideration under Section 17 of the Act 30 of 1987.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is belonging to the founder family of the temples namely Sri Visweswaraswamy Temple, Kanchikacherla, Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple, Kanchikacherla and Sri Dasanjaneyaswamy Temple, Kanchikacherla.

His brother is also declared as the founder family member of the said temples.

In view of the same, he made an application before the 2nd respondent dated 05.12.2022 to consider on the same lines for declaring him as “founder family member” for the said temples and the same is pending without consideration by the 2nd respondent.

On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader for Endowments submits that the representation of the petitioner will be dealt with by the 2nd respondent by following the due procedure.

For which, it takes some more time.

In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022 strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if it is not otherwise disposed of by this date.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
