JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION No.20784 of 2023 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in not paying salaries as per revised pay scales from time to time under A.P.State Subordinate Service Rules and on par with similarly situated employees in other Colleges under MANSAS Trust as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, unconstitutional and offend Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent authorities to pay salaries to the petitioner as per revised pay scales from time to time under A.P.State Subordinate Service Rules on par with similarly situated employees in other colleges under the management of MANSAS Trust with retrospective effect….” 2.

Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated his contention urged in the Writ Petition, but, however limited his request to direct the respondent authorities to dispose of the representations made by the petitioner dated 07.04.2023 and 21.04.2023, requesting to pay salary to the petitioner as per revised pay scales under A.P.

State Subordinate Service Rules on par with similarly situated employees in other colleges under MANSAS Trust, without touching the merits of the case.

On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for Services-III and learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.3 2 submits that the respondent authorities agreed to consider the representations made by the petitioner, dated 07.04.2023 and 21.04.2023 and will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made by the learned Government Pleader and learned Standing Counsel, instead of going into the merits of the case, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose o dispose of the Writ Petition directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 07.04.2023 and 21.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

Accordingly, with the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
