GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in opening the Rowdy Sheet against the petitioner in the 4th respondent Police station keeping the petitioner on surveillance and also calling the petitioner to the police station as illegal arbitrary violation of articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and also opposed to all cannons of justice, and consequently direct the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to close the Rowdy Sheet opened against the petitioner in the 4th respondent police station” 2 2.
Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner.
It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him.
Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet No.19 on the file of Sydapuram Police Station, SPSR Nellore District, against the Petitioner is hereby set aside.
There shall be no order as to costs.
