With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition, in short, is that despite making application through CFMS ID No.70004746502023, dated 06.04.2023 for updating petitioner’s name in the revenue records i.e., correction of entries pertaining to mutation of title deed and issuance of Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds (PPBs/TDs) in respect of the land of an extent Ac.1.68 cents in Survey 2 No.1442/19 of Edubadu Village, Purchur Mandal, Bapatla District, no steps have been taken by the 3rd respondent so far.

As the application of the petitioner is required to be considered by the 3rd respondent, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 3rd respondent to take necessary action on the petitioner’s recent application dated 06.04.2023 for mutation etc; strictly in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of the A.P.

Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971; as amended by Act 15 of 2022 and the relevant Rules, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
