The present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents on the petitioner’s application dated 22.12.2017 and representation 03.01.2022 submitted for deleting his agricultural land admeasuring Ac.0.30 cents covered by Survey No.323-5-A of Vemulavada Village, Karapa Mandal, East Godavari District from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A(1)(a) of Registration Act, 1908.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, while referring to the material filed along with the writ petition, submits that though the petitioner made Mee- seva application dated 22.12.2017 seeking deletion of the subject matter property from the Prohibited Category List, no action was taken by the Revenue Authorities and in such circumstances, the petitioner made a representation before Spandana programme on 02.01.2023 and despite the same, no action is taken in the matter.

He submits that under the said circumstances, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court seeking appropriate reliefs.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the petitioner makes appropriate application afresh, the 2nd respondent would be in a position to take necessary action in accordance with Law.

In view of the said submission, this Court deems it appropriate not to examine the matter further and deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application to the 2nd respondent seeking deletion of the subject matter property from the Prohibited Category List.

On filing such application, the 2nd respondent shall pass orders thereon, in accordance with Law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of the application.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
