Also heard the Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, who placed a copy of the written instructions dated 9.8.2023 received from the 5th respondent for perusal of this Court.

With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission.

The present Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction on the part of respondent No.3 in deleting the illegal entries from the Webland Portal in respect of the subject matter land admeasuring an extent of Ac.25.40 cents in Sy.No.270 of Chamaluru Village, Kondapuram Mandal, YSR Kadapa District as recommended by Respondent No.4 vide Ref.K/1475/2023 dated 17.7.2023, as illegal, arbitrary etc., and contrary to the provisions of the A.P.

Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and Rules framed there under.

The Learned Counsel for the petitioners made submissions with reference to the material on record, more particularly, the Proceedings dated 17.7.2023 of respondent No.4.

On considering the submissions and perusing the material on record, the grievance of the petitioners, in sum and substance, is that though the 4th respondent vide Proceedings dated 17.7.2023 requested the 3rd respondent to permit the 5th respondent to delete irregular entries made in the names of one G.Venkata Reddy and others in respect of the land in Sy.No.270 of an extent of Ac.24. of Ac.24.66 cents of Chamalur Village in Webland Portal by using available facility in Joint Collector’s login of Webland Portal, no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent.

It appears that prior to the said Communication dated 17.7.2023, as seen from the instructions dated 9.8.2023 referred to supra, it would appear that the Revenue Divisional Officer i.e., the 4th respondent herein passed orders dated 7.6.2023 with regard to the irregular entries in the Webland Portal in respect of the land in Sy.No.270 of Chamalur Village, after giving opportunity to the concerned parties.

Be that as it may.

In the light of the relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court deems it not necessary to examine the matter in detail or go into the merits of the case.

Suffice to state that it is for the 3rd respondent to take necessary action in the matter pursuant to the Communication dated 17.7.2023 of the 4th respondent.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the 3rd respondent to take necessary action in the matter, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of eight (8) weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
