IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH :: AMARAVATI THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NINALA JAYASURYA WRIT PETITION NO.19699 of 2023 Between:- Nowpada Rayappa and two others ….

Petitioners And The State of Andhra Pradesh, represented by its Principal Secretary (Revenue), Secretariat Building, Velagapudi, Guntur District & 3 others … Respondents Counsel for the Petitioners : Mr.Bonu Rama Shankar Rao Counsel for the Respondents : Government Pleader for Revenue Department ORDER: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue Department.

On their consent, the writ petition is disposed of.

2.

The grievance of the writ petitioners in short is that, though the petitioners are eligible for grant of D-Patta and made application in that regard for assigning land in Sy.No.149 in an extent of Ac.7.90 cents, situated at Garugubilli Revenue Village, Garugubilli Mandal, Parvathipuram Manyam District, no action has been taken so far.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners with reference to the material on record made his submissions to the effect that the petitioners are 2 landless poor persons and brought the land in Sy.No.149 in an extent of Ac.7.90 cents as cultivable and further that they are in possession and enjoyment of small extents since one decade.

He submits that the petitioners made representations to the revenue authorities to assign the lands by way of D-Form pattas, but no action has been taken so far and therefore, the present writ petition is filed.

4.

Considering submissions made and on perusal of the material on record, this Court in spite of keeping this writ petition pending and granting time to the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue to secure instructions, deems it appropriate to dispose of the same, with a direction to the respondent Nos.2 to 4 to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioners by examining their eligibility for grant of D-Form pattas, as per the existing G. xisting G.Os in vogue, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ JUSTICE NINALA JAYASURYA Date: 04.08.2023 PKR 3 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NINALA JAYASURYA 267 WRIT PETITION NO.19699 of 2023 Date: 04.08.2023 P K R
