SUJATHA WRIT PETITION No.19320 of 2023 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents, in not considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Goods and Services Taxes Officer, on the ground that disciplinary proceedings are pending against the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-I.

Perused the material on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order, dated 30.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.28215 of 2021 and requested to pass a similar order in this writ petition also.

The same is not disputed by learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

In view of the same, for the reasons alike in the aforesaid order, this Writ Petition is also disposed of in terms 2 of the order, dated 30.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.28215 of 2021.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the candidature of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Goods and Services Taxes Officer, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257, dated 10.06.1999.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Registry is directed to attach a copy of the order, dated 30.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.28215 of 2021 to this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed. _______________________ SMT JUSTICE V.
