The accused filed pursis at Exh.02 and pleaded guilty.

As accused pleaded guilty I inquired with him and satisfied that he voluntarily pleaded guilty.

I heard him on the point of sentence.

He prayed for leniency.

Thus considering the punishment provided by the section, in my view following punishment will suffice the purpose.

Thus following order.

ORDER 1.

Accused Rajendra Damodar Kharate is hereby convicted on admission of the offence punishable under Section 6(a) r/w 24 of Cigarettes and Tobacco Act, 2003 by virtue of section 252 of Cr.

P.

C.

2.

The accused is sentenced to pay fine of Rs. ine of Rs.200/- (Two Hundred only) in default of payment of fine he shall suffer S.I. for seven days, for the offence punishable under Section 6(a) r/w 24 of Cigarettes and Tobacco Act, 2003.
