ORDER BELOW EXH – 01. ( Passed on : 09/02/2024 ) This is an application under section 13 (3) of the Birth and Death Registration Act, for the registration of date of death of applicant's father, namely, Raosaheb S/o.
Shankarrao Deshmukh and his grandfather, namely, Shankarrao S/o.
Gopalrao Deshmukh.

The proclamation calling objections, if any, was issued in daily newspaper Daily “Vaidyanath Warta”, dated 11/08/2023, but no one has raised objection.

The applicant has examined himself vide Exh.
No.
06 by filing an affidavit in which he has stated on oath that his father Raosaheb S/o.
Shankarrao Deshmukh died on 19/07/1978 and his grandfather, namely, Shankarrao S/o.
Gopalrao Deshmukh died on 11/11/1980.

The letter issued by Block Development Officer @ Additional District Registrar, Birth and Death, Panchayat Samiti, Parli-Vaijnath dt.
31/07/2023 is showing that the date of death of applicant's father and grandfather are not registered in the register of birth and death registrar, at their office.

The above material show that the statement of the applicant is on oath.
The applicant is being son and grandson would naturally know death details of his father and grandfather.
I do not have any reason to disbelieve the version of the applicant and documents filed on record.
As the death details of his father and grandfather are not registered in the concern register of the respondent office within one year, the application deserves to be allowed.
Hence, the following order. :: O R D E R :: 01.
Application is allowed.
The date of death as 19/07/1978 of the father of applicant namely Raosaheb S/o.
Shankarrao Deshmukh and the date of death as 11/11/1980 of the grandfather of applicant namely Shankarrao S/o. arrao S/o.
Gopalrao Deshmukh be registered in the office of Block Development Officer @ Additional District Registrar, Birth and Death, Panchayat Samiti, Parli-Vaijnath, Dist.
Beed after receiving the requisite fee/charges.
