Plea : Guilty Finding : Guilty Sentence or Order : Accused is convicted and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.
1000/- for offence punishable under sections 279 of IPC and 185 of MV Act and in default of payment of fine accused is sentenced to simple imprisonment for 15 days.
JUDGMENT This is a case charge sheeted by the Sub Inspector of Police, Kuzhalmannam Police Station Crime No.631/2023, against the accused, of the offence punishable under sections 279 of IPC and 185 of MV Act.

Accused present.
Copies of all the relevant documents were furnished to him.
After hearing both sides, charge u/s 279 of IPC and 185 of MV Act was framed and the same was read over and explained to him, to which, he pleaded guilty.
I am satisfied that the plea is made voluntarily and the same is accepted.
2 Accused is found guilty of offences punishable under Sections 279 of IPC and 185 of MV Act.

Prosecution and accused were heard on question of sentence.
Accused prayed to take lenient view while imposing punishment.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am satisfied that imposing fine on the accused would meet the end of justice.

Accused is convicted and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.
1000/- for offence punishable under sections 279 of IPC and 185 of MV Act and in default of payment of fine accused is sentenced to simple imprisonment for 15 days. ( Pronounced by me in open court this the 8th day of September, 2023 sd/- Judicial First Class Magistrate- I, Palakkad.
