1 and 2 are convicted and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.
1000/- each for offence punishable under section 15(c) of Kerala Abkari Act and in default of payment of fine accused are sentenced to simple imprisonment for 15 days each.
JUDGMENT This is a case charge sheeted by the Sub Inspector of Police, Walayar Police Station Crime No.
480/2023, against the accused, of the offence punishable under section 15(c) of Kerala Abkari Act.

1 and 2 are absent and entered through their counsel.
Copies of all the relevant documents were furnished to them.
After hearing both sides, charge u/s 15(c) of Kerala Abkari Act was framed and the same was read over and explained to them, to which, they pleaded guilty.
I am satisfied that the plea is made voluntarily and the same is accepted.
Accused are found guilty of offences punishable under Section 15(c) of Kerala Abkari Act.

Prosecution and accused were heard on question of sentence.
Accused prayed to take lenient view while imposing punishment.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am satisfied that imposing fine on the accused would meet the end of justice.
