CORAM:- Wajahat Hussain Kazmi J.O Code:- JK00185 O R D E R Instant application has been filed by the applicant seeking directions to Block Development Officer, Surankote for entering the birth particulars of applicant, who was born on 17.09.1998 in the record maintained by the concerned Block Development Office.

This application is supported by an affidavit duly sworn in by the applicant.

Consequent upon filing of the application, report from concerned B.D.O Office was called which reveals that no such entry has been made in their record.

In order to invite the objections from general public a notice was published in daily newspaper “Kashmir Uzma” in its issue dated 17.06.2023.

The same is on record.

Despite publication no body appeared in the court to file objections in the application.

In support of averments made in the application, the applicant has filed her affidavit in evidence and her witnesses namely Mohd Taj and Abdul Khaliq have also filed their respective affidavit in their evidence.

The applicant and her witnesses deposed in the tune with the averments contained in the application.

Counsel for the applicant, perused the record of Page 2 of 2 the file and also gone through relevant provisions of law.

I am satisfied that applicant namely Sahira Parveen D/o Mohd Bashir R/o Hari, Tehsil Surankote, District Poonch was born on 17.09. on 17.09.1998, her birth particulars have not been recorded in the record maintained by the Block Development Officer Surankote.

Block Development Officer Surankote is therefore directed to enter the birth particulars of the applicant in the concerned register.
