3.
Perused the case record.
The present application relates to the determination of wheeling Charges, Wheeling loses, Cross Subsidy Surcharge for LT Consumers taking power on Open Access permitted under OERC (Promotion of Renewable Energy through Green Energy Open Access) Regulations, 2023 for the current financial year.
In course of the hearing, it is submitted on behalf of TPCODL that the rest three DISCOMs are also likely to file similar applications and in view of their nature all these applications need to be heard together along with the ARR & Retail Supply Tariff Applications for FY 2026-27 of the TP DISCOMs.
4.
The Commission observes that the LT Open Access charges is the derivative of approved Aggregate Revenue Requirement (ARR) of the respective DISCOMs for a particular year and vary from year to year based on the approval of ARR.
It is learnt that no applications for Green Energy Open Access at LT level have been received from any other DISCOM.
Now only few months are left for the current financial year to end.
Consideration of the present application of TPCODL for this short duration may not serve fruitful purpose.
The ARR determination process for ensuing financial year is fast approaching.
Ordinarily, the DISCOMs file their applications before the Commission for open access charges during the ARR determination process.
Since the LT open access charges is an off-shot of the approved ARR of a particular year, all the four DISCOMs are advised to file their LT Open Access Charges applications during the ensuing tariff proceeding for FY 2026-27.
Y 2026-27.
Accordingly, with the consent of TPCODL, the present application of TPCODL is disposed of without being considered.
