The petitioner before this Court is the wife of Late Presley Lyngdoh, who was appointed as Peon (Checker) in the Taxation Department in the year 1990 and has since expired on 21-06-2018.

The state respondents have filed an affidavit indicating that the deceased employee namely, Late Presly Lyngdoh, who was employed as a Peon (Checker) in the Taxation Department has been approved for regularization.

In view of this development, matter is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the entire process of regularization and release of terminal benefits to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
