1, who is the material respondent at the outset submits that the writ petitioners herein who are the wives/legal heirs of the deceased employees had never approached the concerned respondent for release of the sanctioned amount which was payable by way of the Voluntary Retirement Scheme.

He further submits that if the writ petitioners approach the respondent, their grievances would be looked into and the amounts cleared, subject to production of valid Page 2 of 2 succession certificate indicating their rights granted in their favour, as far as the benefits of the deceased employees are concerned.

The submissions are noted and accepted.

Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to approach the respondent No.

1 with valid Succession Certificates issued in their favour for release of the terminal benefits of the deceased employees.

With the above noted direction, this instant writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
