Case called for hearing on 23.07.2024. Counsel for petitioner Ms. Stephania Pinto for Precinct Legal present and made submissions for enforcing payment of claims along with interest on the ground that M/s. Shantha Power Project was very much existed at the time of filing the petition. Respondent counsel Sri. Anish Acharya present submitted that once the moratorium order is imposed by the NCLT, no proceeding is maintainable against the respondent. Hence, the petition is not maintainable. Commission heard the counsels and kept this petition in abeyance till the order in As/Misc-06/2022 filed by Bhadrashree Steels Pvt. Ltd. Vs BESCOM.
