Present Sh. Sher Singh, President of Society, who is vice chairman of the Brahmaputra Board in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, states that there is no project, and they have no idea of the project site. It is some miscreant who advertised in the newspaper, although the cell number given is of their office. The President of the Society is hereby directed to file an affidavit, along with the resolution of the Society, duly attested by a 1st class magistrate within 2 weeks to the effect that the said project land as shown in the advertisement does not belong to them, and AEE Mr. Shashank is directed to visit the site and give his report of the physical status of said land within 2 weeks.
