On the last date of hearing, the counsel for  the respondent sought a short adjournment for filing reply. The respondent was directed to file reply within two weeks i.e., by 20.09.2024 in the registry with a copy to the complainant. Case has been called out but no one has appeared on behalf of the respondent today. No reply has been filed till date. The respondent is directed to file reply within 3 weeks i.e., by 03.01.2025 in the registry with a copy to the complainant. It shall be the last opportunity. In case reply is not filed within the stipulated period, defence of the respondent shall be struck off. Matter to come up on 04.04.2025 for further proceedings.

The present complaint was filed on 22.05.2024 and registered as complaint no. 2383 of 2024. As per the registry, complainant has sent copy of complaint through speed post as well as through email and proof regarding having the delivery of the complaint made to the respondent was submitted by the complainant as available in the file. The counsel of  the respondent seeks a short adjournment for filing reply. The respondent is directed to file reply within two weeks i.e., by 20.09.2024 in the registry with a copy to the complainant. Last opportunity is being granted.     In case reply is not filed within the time allowed, cost of Rs.5000/- shall be imposed upon the respondent. Matter to come up on 20.12.2024  for further proceedings.
