DR VINAY GUPTA vs INTERNATIONAL LAND DEVELOPERS PVT. LTD.

The present complaint was filed on 10.05.2022 and registered as complaint no. 2000 of 2022. Despite proper service of notice, no written reply has yet been filed. Moreover, the service is also confirmed from the fact that Shri Rishabh Gupta, Advocate is appearing on behalf of the respondent. Vide order dated 06.07.2023, the respondent was given last opportunity to file the reply. On 26.10.2023 the counsel for the respondent had supplied a copy of reply to the counsel for the complainant and was directed to submit the reply in the registry today itself (i.e., 26.10.2023). However, till today no reply has been filed by the respondent. The counsel for the respondent states that the project is near completion and resolution plan has already been submitted in the authority . In view of the above,  matter is adjourned to 8.8.2024 for further proceedings.

Despite specific order dated 26.10.2023, respondent neither filed reply nor paid cost. As respondent availed more than 15-month time for filing reply and has not filed reply and also not paid cost so further opportunity for filing of reply and payment of cost now justified. Now the matter is listed before the authority on 18.04.2024 for final arguments.

Matter is adjourned to 25.01.2024.
