Vide Resolution dated 26.02.2025, a request has been received from the District Bar Association Gurugram regarding suspension of work on 28.02.2025 on account of annual election of District Bar Association Gurugram. In view of the above, the matter is adjourned to 28.03.2025  for the purpose as already fixed.

The present complaint was filed on 20.03.2023 and no reply has been filed by respondent till date. As per the registry, complainant has sent copy of complaint through speed post as well as through email and proof regarding having the delivery of the complaint made to the respondent was submitted by the complainant as available in the file. The registry of the authority also sent a notice along with a copy of the complaint through email as well as speed post which was thoroughly delivered. No reply has been received from the respondent till date.  Last opportunity is granted to the respondent to file reply in the registry of the authority within a  period of 15 days with an advance copy to the complainant. In view of the Resolution No.3577 dated 25.10.2024 received from District Bar Association Gurugram  for suspension of the work and it has been requested not to pass an adverse order, the matter to come up on 28.02.2025 for further proceedings.

Despite calls none appeared on behalf of the respondent. As per the order dated 29.03.2024 neither reply filed on behalf of the respondent nor cost of Rs. 15,000/- paid. As none appears on behalf of the respondent so now the matter is listed before the Authority on 25.10.2024 for final arguments.

Neither reply filed within the stipulated period given in the order dated 01.12.2023 nor previous cost of Rs. 10,000/- paid on behalf of the respondent. Adjournment requested. In the interest of justice, the case is adjourned for 26.07.2024. Respondent is directed to file reply, if any, within three weeks of this order with cost of  Rs. 15,000/- failing which defence of respondent may be struck off.

Case file put up today. Case is listed for hearing on 08.03.2024. As 08.03.2024 is declared holiday on account of Maha Shiv Ratri so case is adjourned for 29.03.2024 for the same proceedings as already fixed.

In case the reply is not filed within the time allowed, the defence of the respondent  shall be  struck off. Matter to come up on  1.12.2023   for further proceedings.
