The parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and a copy of addendum to settlement deed dated 20.06.2022 to this effect  has been placed on record by the counsel for the respondent which is duly signed by both the parties.    The demand draft attached with the settlement deed have already been expired. The respondent is directed to get the demand draft re-valiated and issue a fresh demand draft mentioned  in the settlement deed,  if already expired. In  view of settlement deed, the matter stands disposed off.  File be consigned to the registry.

The counsel for the complainant states that the settlement was arrived at in this case on 26.8.2022 and complainant is still ready to accept the amount agreed upon in the settlement deed. Both the counsels  of the parties state hat fresh settlement talks are going and shall file the settlement deed on or before 31.5.2024. and further the counsel for the respondent has handed over DD of Rs. ten lakh (four cheques of Rs 2.50 lakh each) to the counsel for the complainant during proceedings and both have agreed to conclude the complete settlement within a maximum period of 9 months.
